1 – Dua for Forgiveness

In the last 10 days of Ramadan, seek forgiveness for your sins with all your heart. This is a time of immense mercy, and Allah is most forgiving.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

Transliteration:
Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, a’udhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa abu’u bidhanbi, faghfir li, fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta.

Translation:
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I am faithful to Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I confess my sin. So forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

2 – Dua for Protection

Ask Allah to protect you and your loved ones from all harm. Pray for safety and well-being in this life and the hereafter.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-‘aafiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as’aluka al-‘afwa wal-‘aafiyata fi deeni wa dunyaya wa ahli wa maali. Allahumma astur ‘awraati, wa aamin raw‘aati. Allahumma ihfadhni min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfī, wa ‘an yameeni, wa ‘an shimaali, wa min fawqi, wa a‘oodhu bi ‘azamatika an ughtala min tahti.

Translation:
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from in front of me, from behind me, on my right, on my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck down from beneath me.

3 – Dua for Mercy

These last days are filled with Allah’s mercy. Pray for His blessings to come upon you and your loved ones.<

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Transliteration:
Rabbi ighfir warham wa Anta khayru ar-raahimeen.

Translation:
My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the best of those who show mercy.

You can make your own heartfelt dua too — start with praise of Allah, send salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ, then ask:

“Ya Allah, Your mercy is vast, beyond anything I can imagine. Shower Your mercy upon me, my family, my parents, my friends, and all those I love — in this life and the next. Never leave us without Your love and protection. Ameen.”

4 – Dua for Guidance

Ask Allah to guide you towards the right path, to make wise decisions, and to strengthen your faith.

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

Transliteration:
Ihdinaṣ-ṣirāṭal-mustaqeem.

Translation:
Guide us to the Straight Path.

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي وَسَدِّدْنِي

Transliteration:
Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni.

Translation:
O Allah, guide me and keep me firm and correct.

5 – Dua for Success

Pray for success in your endeavors, whether in your studies, career, or personal life. Allah is the provider and the giver of success.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Transliteration:
Rabbanaa aatina fid-dunyaa ḥasanah, wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanah, wa qinaa ‘adhaaban-naar.

Translation:
Our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
